Our Property
Hello we are a family owned and operated campground in the beautiful state of Minnesota. Located just 7 miles south of Detroit Lakes, and not far off of Hyway 59. The Lazy Loon is a quiet little campground located on two lakes that adjoin each other, Johnson lake and Reeves lake. We have several spots available for your RV with water/sewer and electrical hookups. The fishing is amazing and the family's that are there now have become like our own. Please come down and check us out you will be glad you did.
All Camping spots are within eye shot of the Lake so you won't have far to travel.
A small play area is available for your younger children to enjoy.
The best part of fishing here is there is no shortage of great fish to catch. If you like to fish for sunfish or crappies...we even have northern and if you like Walleyes you're in luck
This is Johnson Lake. It is a beautiful lake and the main access lake we use at the campground. Johnson flows into the other lake, Reeves. Both lakes are accessible, but only Johnson has the swimming area. Please call for the current rate. 218-234-7406 or 218-847-7406
