About Us
The Lazy Loon was established in 1997, We are a seasonal campground with limited overnight camping available. The Lazy Loon is located on two lakes, Johnson and Reeves. The lakes flow into one another and the fishing is superb in both lakes. The DNR checks the oxygen levels and we can boast some of the highest in the area. What this means is a great environment for the fish, and better environment means more fish.
My Children and I have loved having the lake as our second home since 97. We fish, swim, play on the beach till it's time to fire up the grill for supper. The peacefulness of the lakes is like none I have ever witnessed before. Growing up around the lakes I have spent most of my life on one lake or another in Minnesota, but these two lakes are the best fishing I have ever seen. That and the closeness of the campers is a joy...It truly is like going to our second home in the summer.
